  51.   Introduction:

  53.    We  developed  CapiTel  because  OS/2  needed  a  CAPI  1.1  based
  54.    answering machine. It worked  very  well  for  our  personal  use,
  55.    therefore the time has come to release it to  the  public.  Please
  56.    do not forget that this is an alpha version and that it  has  only
  57.    been tested with the ELSA OS/2 CAPI driver. If you  have  problems
  58.    of any kind, contact us and we will fix them!

  63.    CapiTel.EXE <delay> <eaz list>

  65.    <delay>    : Delay in seconds till answer

  67.    <eaz list> : All served EAZ's, seperated by spaces.

  70.   Record Welcome-Text:

  72.    You  can  record  your  own  welcome-text  instead  of  using  the
  73.    default one. Just  start  CapiTel  and  type  the  'R'.  Now  call
  74.    yourself by phone and say  your  welcome  text.  A  BEEP  will  be
  75.    automatically appended to your text.

  78.   Answering Mode:

  80.    Just supply the delay, after how many seconds  CapiTel  will  pick
  81.    up the call, and the EAZ list. Incoming calls  will  be  shown  on
  82.    the screen, and the caller's text will be saved into *.WAV  files.
  83.    They can be found in the CapiTel main  directory.  Use  MMPM/2  to
  84.    play them.

  114.   On Capi 1.1 ist is not possible  to start 2 or  more  applikations,
  115.   that  wants to  listen to the same EAZ (and same ServiceIndicator).
  116.   So it  is not possible to run CapiTel and (e.g.) CallerID or  Capi-
  117.   Snooper at the  same time.  If CallerID  or  Snooper  starts  after
  118.   Capitel,  this was a flag for bad programming of these applikations
  119.   or CAPI-driver.

  121.   The  PCM-files  was plain a-law-data.  In one of the following ver-
  122.   sions you can send welcome.wav  instead of  welcome.pcm. so you can
  123.   create your own  welcome-text  with your soundcard without  calling
  124.   yourself.
